Throughout the fourth quarter of 2022, the top five carpooling and ridesharing apps in Qatar demonstrated varied performance in terms of weekly downloads and active users, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Request a ride saw a notable pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at around 17.6K in the week of December 19. While the weekly downloads fluctuated, active users remained relatively stable, ranging from approximately 91.4K to 100.4K over the quarter.

Careem – rides, food & more experienced steady weekly downloads, with a high of 3.7K in the week of October 31. Its active users fluctuated slightly, peaking at approximately 41K at the end of October and mid-December.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver observed significant download spikes, particularly in the week of October 31, reaching about 6.2K. Active users also saw a peak in the same week, with numbers climbing to around 9.9K.

Careem Captain showed a consistent increase in weekly downloads, hitting a high of approximately 1.6K at the end of October. Active users mirrored this growth, peaking at roughly 3.1K during the same period.

inDrive. Save on city rides maintained steady download rates, with a slight increase to 730 in the week of December 5. Active users exhibited a gradual rise, reaching approximately 8.4K by mid-December.
